SHINee is scheduled to make a comeback this month with their highly-anticipated third album, “Dream Girl”. Their third studio album will be split into two chapters. The first chapter titled “Dream Girl – The Misconceptions of You” will be released digitally on the 18th and physically on the 20th; the second chapter titled “Dream Girl – The Misconceptions of Me” will be released sometime in April. Both chapters contain 9 songs each, for a total of 18 songs combined.
Introduction
To hype up the release of their comeback after 11 months, Melon created the “SHINee Music Spoiler” event at Olympus Hall on the 14th. A music critic, composer, music program PD, fashion editor, members of the press, and more were present at the event and expressed their interest in SHINee’s new album. The 100 fans in attendance were able to listen to six of the nine new tracks on “Dream Girl” prior to the official release, as well as a song and a medley of three songs from Chapter 2. SHINee put on fantastic live performances and held a brief Q&A session at the event. Two of the directors for the album also made an appearance to give a basic explanation about the concepts and meanings behind the project. Director Lee Sungsoo from SM Entertainment’s producing department shared information about the songs and their meanings, while Director Min Heejin from SM Entertainment’s visual and art directing department introduced SHINee’s visual concept.

Back on May 25th, 2008, SHINee made their official debut on SBS‘s “Inkigayo” with their track “Replay“. To help celebrate their 4th anniversary, SHINee left a video message to their fans.
In the video, Jonghyun states that it’s already been 4 years and how time flies by fast. Taemin mentions how he was only 16 years old when they first debuted and he’s now already 20. They stated that they will continue to work hard and will greet their fans once again next year on May 25, 2013 for their 5th anniversary.
From humble beginnings to top Kpop stars, they’ve come a long way. For Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin along with Shawols, Happy 4th Anniversary.

As reported earlier, Korean group SHINee will be releasing their new single, “Sherlock (Japanese ver.)“, on May 16th. However, prior to its official release, the group has unveiled the PV for the song.
This is the Japanese version of SHINee’s song “Sherlock”, which has already been released in South Korea. The single will also include a Japanese original song called “Keeping love again” as its coupling track.
“Sherlock (Japanese ver.)” will be available in 3 different versions: Limited Edition, Regular First Press Edition, and Regular Edition. We have some time to go before the official release, so check out the PV in the meantime!

K-pop

K-pop, there’s no getting around it. In Asia and the USA Korean pop music is super popular, but in Europe this genre is almost exclusively known to a select group of trendsetters. The trendy and striking looks and the different music stiles make these Girl and Boybands a hot item. Watch out, because K-pop is about to rule the world!
Tiara
Who? Tiara is a South Korean Girl group. Originally they consisted of five members, but after two of the girls left the group was expanded with four extra members. Tiara is now made up of Boram, Qri, Soyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin, Hwayoung and Jiyeon.
Known for? In 2009 this group came out with the soundtrack for the Korean film Cinderella Man. Their best known track is Bo Peep Bo Peep from their album Absolute First Album. Their song Cry,Cry at once reached 1st place in the Korean Hitlists on the day of its release.
Music? Tiara’s easy to listen to pop-songs are enjoyed by young and old alike.
Fashion? The girls like funky, playful and colorful. They present a cheery and bright look on stage! Therefore Tiara is had to place into one category. “We want to be a sort of Chameleon group and not be bound to one style. We constantly dress up; from cat to Indian outfits, we even dressed up as guys. The fans are sometimes a little startled, but we’re still always ourselves.”

Big Bang
Who? Big Bang is a cool South Korean boy band formed in 2005, the group consists of five members: T.O.P., Taeyang, G-Dragon, Daesung and Seungri.
Music style? Smooth hip-hop with R&B influences.
Known for? G-Dragon and Taeyang received a contract with YG Entertainment at age 12. Underground rapper T.O.P. was also connected to this label. In 2005 they put their heads together and formed Big Bang together with Daesung and Seungri. In 2007 they released their first EP Always. They really became famous through their pop track Lies. Together with fellow K-pop band 2NE1 they promoted LG’s new Lollipop Phone with a song of the same name and they won an award at the last MTV Europe Music Awards for World Wide act.
Fashion? Their style is funky hip-hop mixed with casual wear. Fans from all over the world copy their looks. G-Dragon: “The Big Bang-members each have their own style.”
Other Facts
‘I Am‘, the upcoming film featuring the stories of SM Entertainment artists BoA, TVXQ, Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, SHINee, and f(x) has released a 3rd teaser in the form of a video.
This newest teaser video mentions that they will be opening an official fan cafe in May. This official cafe will be a place where fans can get informaiton about their favorite SM Entertainment artists.
The film features the day and events surrounding SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in Madison Square Garden back in October of 2011. Fans can look forward to everything from stage performances of ‘SM Town Live World Tour in New York’ to some of their day-to-day activities.
SM Entertainment assured, “It will be the real story behind SM Town like never seen before.”
